Summer felt very long for us in Southern California. It seemed to last even well into the first weeks of Fall. While the rest of the northern world were experiencing the changing of the season, we SoCal inhabitants were still sweating it out during the day, but oh so enjoying the weather at night.
Here, a sure sign that Fall is upon us is the presence of a cold rainfall along with, finally, some Fall foliage popping up in some neighborhoods who were graced with non-evergreen trees.
If you ever visit Southern California around this time of year, don’t be surprised to see us pull over the side of the road just to take a photo of the rain, the clouds, or the colorful trees. We don’t get them often, so we like to take pictires to help us remember that yes, sometimes, we do have other seasons besides Summer.
